AABB -- klimt untitled #4

gravity pulls but it never lingers

tracing defeat with it's soft fingers

grace and divinity mask it's decay

upon the very soul in which it lays

mercy drips down my tongue like honey and milk

wrapped in shriveled thorns made of silk

take your breath for the first time

It's been a while since you felt divine

draw in deep, a taste of salvation

pacify with a kiss to stray hesitation

let forever be forever, we live only for the night

we live and breathe simply for the sight

with a silence more silent than silence itself

love that ended drenched on near a bed shelf

tracing fingers etched in skin of thorns

gravity pulls, as you hold on to it's horns

let gravity pull and and never sway once more

don't wait. don't look back.

nobody awaits us anymore.
